2025 AFF Course & Exciting Opportunity in Spain

Overcoming Challenges & Moving Forward

Skydive Ireland (SDI) has faced a challenging year, primarily due to delays in the delivery of our new aircraft. While we now have the aircraft in place and are progressing through the backlog of AFF applications, clearing the waiting list will still take some time.

However, earlier this year, we arranged a special trip to Seville, Spain, allowing some of our AFF students to accelerate their training despite the delays. It was a huge success! You can check out a brief overview of the trip here: Watch on YouTube

Exclusive Collaboration – Fast-Track Your AFF Progress in Spain

Thanks to the success of the Seville trip, SDI is collaborating with Andy Clark, a former SDI Chief Instructor and British Skydiving Advanced Instructor (AI), from Airsport Skydiving Academy (ASA). This partnership allows those on our waiting list to fast-track their AFF Levels 1-8 with ASA in Spain—all at the same price offered here at SDI.

More often than not, students attending these trips also complete their consolidation jumps and earn their British Skydiving ‘A’ licence. The favourable weather conditions in Seville, combined with the presence of an AI instructor, make this possible.

Upcoming Course Details

  • Course Dates: 24th June – 2nd July (including travel days)

  • Ground School: Conducted by Andy Clark & the SDI team on 23rd June at SDI

  • Location: Seville, Spain

  • Training: Delivered by British Skydiving instructors following the SDI AFF process

Andy, a former SDI CI and current part-time instructor at SDI, understands the SDI setup and can help students transition smoothly when they return—ensuring they settle into the club quickly and continue refining their skydiving skills.

Logistics & Booking

Students will be responsible for booking their own flights and accommodation (we typically stay at the Domo Centre with skydiver rates) and contributing towards hire car costs.

Once we have a confirmed list of attendees, Andy and ASA will provide full details to ensure the trip runs smoothly.
