Logo for Children's Heartbeat Trust featuring a yellow teddy bear with a red heart on its chest and text indicating it is Northern Ireland's Children's Heart Charity.

Children’s Heartbeat Trust work to help children and young people with heart disease and their families to live full and empowered lives, informed about their heart condition but not overwhelmed by it. There are around 4,000 children and young people living with heart conditions in NI. Children’s Heartbeat Trust has been working since 1984 to provide practical, emotional, and financial support to children and young people living with heart disease and their families. We offer dedicated youth and family support services for each stage of a heart warrior’s experience. Alongside this we undertake and support research, and campaign for the voices of children, young people, and their families to be at the heart of all congenital cardiac services.

U.S. Pavement Service Animal Control Association logo with a paw print, a leash, and a paw print, along with the text 'USPA' and the slogan 'Protecting All Animals' established in 1836.

The Ulster Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (USPCA) is the second oldest animal welfare charity in the world, dedicated to the relief of suffering and the prevention of cruelty toward animals in Northern Ireland. Unlike the RSPCA which operates in England and Wales, the USPCA is a localized independent charity that provides a wide range of essential services, including veterinary clinic support for pet owners struggling financially, wildlife rehabilitation, and an animal rehoming program. They also play a critical role in advocacy and education, lobbying for stronger animal welfare solutions and investigating reports of organized animal cruelty, such as puppy farming and badger baiting. Through their "Prevention through Education" initiatives, they work to foster a culture of compassion and responsible guardianship across the community.

Logo of Northern Ireland Air Ambulance Charity, featuring a red helicopter silhouette and heart rate line with red text.

Air Ambulance NI is a charity providing Helicopter Emergency Medical Service across Northern Ireland, in partnership with NIAS. Every day, two people on average need our critical care.

Our crew, pilot, doctor, and paramedic, fly 365 days a year, reaching any part of the province in around 25 minutes. Getting patients to hospital within the Golden Hour can mean the difference between life and death.

It costs £8,200 a day to run the service, and we rely entirely on public support to stay airborne. From fundraising to Gifts in Wills, every contribution helps save lives.
